TUESDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES ARE LIKELY...
PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST HALF OF ARKANSAS. THE
MAJORITY OF THE RAINFALL WILL FALL IN A VERY SHORT TIME
FRAME...WITH RUN OFF LIKELY.

* THE SOIL ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS REMAINS SATURATED FROM THE
HEAVY RAIN THAT HAS FALLEN DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. MANY RIVERS
AND STREAMS ARE STILL AT UNSEASONABLY HIGH LEVELS... WITH ANY
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL ONLY INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR
FLASH FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Arkansas River At Pine Bluff.
* from Wednesday evening until further notice...Or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 3:45 AM Monday the stage was 39.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Wednesday evening and continue
to rise to near 43.6 feet by early Friday morning. Heavy rainfall could occur in the next 24 hours and this forecast will likely change. Please monitor the river forecasts from the National Weather Service in Little Rock closely over the next few days.
* Impacts at 42.0 feet...Regional Park flooded with the gate at
Regional Park Road closed. This will prevent access to the AGFC
Delta Rivers Nature Center and Harbor Oaks public golf course.
Some damage in the lowlands inside the levees in Pine Bluff.
* Impacts at 43.0 feet...Island Harbour Estates Road is impassible,
access by boat only to Island Harbour homes.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue
to rise to near 43.8 feet by Friday early afternoon.
* Impacts at 42.0 feet...Regional Park flooded with the gate at
Regional Park Road closed. This will prevent access to the AGFC
