TUESDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES ARE LIKELY...
PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST HALF OF ARKANSAS. THE
MAJORITY OF THE RAINFALL WILL FALL IN A VERY SHORT TIME
FRAME...WITH RUN OFF LIKELY.

* THE SOIL ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS REMAINS SATURATED FROM THE
HEAVY RAIN THAT HAS FALLEN DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. MANY RIVERS
AND STREAMS ARE STILL AT UNSEASONABLY HIGH LEVELS... WITH ANY
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL ONLY INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR
FLASH FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

The Arkansas River At Pendleton.
* from Friday afternoon until further notice...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 12:15 PM Sunday the stage was 29.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday and continue to rise
to near 31.5 feet by Saturday morning. Please monitor the river forecasts
from the National Weather Service in Little Rock closely over the next
few days.
* Impacts at 31.0 feet...Residences inside the levee just upstream
of the Pendleton Bridge are affected.

* At 10:15 AM Monday the stage was 29.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday afternoon and continue
to rise to near 31.5 feet by Saturday morning. Heavy rainfall may occur
over the next 24 hours and this forecast will likely change. Please
continue to monitor the river forcasts from the National Weather
Service in Little Rock for any updates.
* Impacts at 31.0 feet..Residences inside the levee just upstream of
the Pendleton Bridge are affected.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday afternoon and continue
to rise to near 31.5 feet by Saturday morning.
* Impacts at 31.0 feet..Residences inside the levee just upstream of
the Pendleton Bridge are affected.
* Impact...at 32.0 feet...Area access roads on right descending bank
upstream and downstream of the bridge are flooded. Property inside
the levee in the Pendeleton area is threatened and should be
removed.
