...UNUSUAL LATE SEASON COLD WEATHER...

AN UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR MASS SWEEPING IN FROM THE INTERIOR ALASKA
WILL AFFECT THE NORTHEASTERN GULF COAST AND NORTH CENTRAL
PANHANDLE OVER THE WEEKEND INTO MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

BEGINNING LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...TEMPERATURES WILL DROP TO NEAR
FREEZING AROUND THE YAKUTAT AREA. RAIN SHOWERS MIXED WITH SNOW WILL
TAKE PLACE SATURDAY NIGHT...WITH LITTLE OR NO SNOW ACCUMULATION
EXPECTED.

THIS COLD AIR WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD SOUTHEASTWARD INTO THE CENTRAL
PANHANDLE THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT. CLEARING SKIES WILL CAUSE AREAS
OF FROST TO DEVELOP IN WIND SHELTERED AND LOW LYING AREAS OVERNIGHT FOR
YAKUTAT...HOONAH...GUSTAVUS...ELFIN COVE...PELICAN AND JUNEAU.
RESIDENTS SHOULD CONSIDER TAKING PLANTS INDOORS AS TEMPERATURES IN
THESE AREAS MAY DROP TO AROUND 30 DEGREES FOR A FEW HOURS DURING
THE EARLY MORNING HOURS ON MONDAY...TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.

CONDITIONS WARRANT.
