* SNOW...5 to 10 inches.

* BLOWING SNOW...reducing visibility to less than one quarter
mile.

* WINDS...northeast to east 30 to 40 mph gusting near 60 mph.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...around 55 below.

* TIMING...Conditions will deteriorate to near whiteout at times
tonight and improve Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Visibility will be very poor and snow will
accumulate into drifts. Whiteout conditions should be
expected. Travel and outdoor activities will be difficult.

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions in
blowing snow with strong winds and very poor visibilities are

THURSDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Blizzard
Warning which is in effect from 6 AM Thursday to midnight AKST
Thursday night. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

* LOCATION...North of Cape Espenberg.

* SNOW...7 to 14 inches.

* BLOWING SNOW...reducing visibility to one quarter mile or less.

* WINDS...East at 25 to 35 mph gusting to 45 mph.

* TIMING...Conditions will deteriorate early Thursday to near
whiteout then improve in the late evening as winds diminish.

* IMPACTS...Visibility will be very poor and snow will accumulate
into drifts. Whiteout conditions should be expected. Travel and
outdoor activities will be difficult.

* BLOWING SNOW...Reducing visibility to one half mile or less at
times.

* WINDS...East 15 to 25 mph gusting to 40 mph.

* TIMING...Conditions will deteriorate overnight, then improve
late Thursday as the winds and snow diminish.

* IMPACTS...Visibility may be greatly reduced. Travel and outdoor
activities will be difficult.
