* AFFECTED AREA...From Delta Junction south.

* TIMING...Red flag conditions will develop during the
afternoons and evening hours through Tuesday. Relative
humidity will drop below 25 percent after 1 pm with winds
around 15 mph and temperatures in the lower 80s expected. Poor
overnight relative humidity recovery is expected.

* WINDS...South around 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 22 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...75 to 85.

* IMPACTS...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be

...Near Record High Temperatures Expected in the Southeast

Temperatures will rise into the middle to upper 80s from
Fairbanks east and Fort Yukon south today and Monday.

A strong area of high pressure remains over the area with very
warm air aloft pushing west over the interior out of Canada.

The record high today for Northway is 83F and Monday is 84F,
while Delta Junction records are 84F and 86F respectively. The
records for Fairbanks are 88F today and Monday.
