...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 11 PM MST MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from noon to 11 PM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...A weather system will be moving through Arizona Monday
and will cause strong southwest to west winds. Winds this
strong can cause minor tree damage, isolated power outages, move
light weight objects like patio furniture, and create driving
difficulties with high profile vehicles.

* TIMING...Wind speeds will start to increase Monday morning and
reach Advisory levels around noon and continue into the late
evening before diminishing below Advisory levels after 11 pm
Monday.

* WINDS...Southwest to west winds increasing to 10-20 mph Monday
morning and reaching 25-30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph by noon
into the late evening in the Advisory area. After 11pm Monday
winds will decrease below Advisory levels from West to East.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or greater
are expected in the valleys...or 35 mph or greater above
5000 feet. Higher gusts are also likely. This could make driving
difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
5 AM MST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Light snow will begin this evening then increase in
intensity late tonight into Monday. Total snow accumulations by
Monday evening will generally be in the 6 to 12 inch range.

* WHERE...White Mountains of Graham and Greenlee Counties.

* WHEN...11 PM today to 5 AM Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The wind will increase into the 25 to 35
mph with locally with higher gusts on Monday. This may produced
low visibilities due to blowing snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow are likely
which will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
