WITH RECENT SNOWFALL...THESE WINDS COULD COMBINE WITH BLOWING
SNOW TO CREATE SLICK ROADS.

* IMPACTS...MAINLY TO TRANSPORTATION. TRAVEL WILL BE DANGEROUS TO
LIGHT WEIGHT AND HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. THERE WILL BE AN
ENHANCED RISK FOR VEHICLE BLOW OVERS...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE
INTERSTATE 80 SUMMIT BETWEEN LARAMIE AND CHEYENNE.

WESTERLY WINDS GUSTING 40 TO 50 MPH WILL CONTINUE INTO THE
PREDAWN HOURS SUNDAY MORNING ACROSS THE NORTHERN SNOWY RANGE
FOOTHILLS. THIS INCLUDES PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE 80 BETWEEN LARAMIE
AND RAWLINS...SUCH AS ELK MOUNTAIN AND ARLINGTON. WINDS WILL
SUBSIDE TOWARDS SUNRISE SUNDAY MORNING. IN ADDITION...BLOWING SNOW
WILL PRODUCE ICY ROADS.

THE WYOMING DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ADVISES NO LIGHT TRAILER
TRAFFIC DUE TO WIND SPEEDS ABOVE 50 MPH. THESE WINDS MAY CAUSE
LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL OR A BLOW OVER TO HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES
TRAVELING EMPTY OR WITH A LIGHT LOAD. DRIVERS OF SUCH VEHICLES ARE
ADVISED TO DELAY TRAVEL.
