SATURDAY...

.A LARGE UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL ALLOW MOISTURE TO STREAM
IN FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS BACK INTO THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF
WESTERN WYOMING BY SATURDAY MORNING. EXPECT EXTENDED PERIODS OF
LIGHT TO LOCALIZED MODERATE SNOW TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY AND
EVENING ON SATURDAY...WITH SOME RAIN MIXED IN AT TIMES IN THE
AFTERNOON. RAIN AND SNOW WILL DIMINISH SATURDAY NIGHT. NEW SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE HIGHER
TERRAIN OF WESTERN WYOMING. THOSE TRAVELING OR WITH OUTDOOR
ACTIVITIES SHOULD PREPARE FOR THE RETURN OF WINTER CONDITIONS AT
TIMES.

MIDNIGHT MDT SATURDAY NIGHT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 AM SATURDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT SATURDAY NIGHT.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW THIS EVENING WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE
OVERNIGHT AND THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS SATURDAY...LASTING
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING BEFORE TAPERING OFF AFTER MIDNIGHT.
HEAVIEST PERIOD OF SNOWFALL SHOULD BE FROM NOON SATURDAY THROUGH
THE EVENING PERIOD.

* SNOWFALL...4 TO 10 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...INCREASING NORTH TO NORTHEAST WIND AT 15
TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH...DECREASING LATE SATURDAY
EVENING. VISIBILITY OF ONE HALF MILE OR LESS IN SNOW AND
BLOWING SNOW.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW COVERED OR SLUSHY ROADWAYS ARE ANTICIPATED.
MOTORISTS SHOULD MONITOR ROAD CONDITIONS BEFORE TRAVELING ON
THE I80 CORRIDOR TODAY.
