THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR THE UPPER GREEN RIVER BASIN FOOTHILLS WHICH IS
IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST TUESDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS
NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...PERSISTENT SNOWFALL TODAY WITH BURSTS OF HEAVY SNOW AT
TIMES. SOME SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TONIGHT... BEFORE
TAPERING OFF LATE TUESDAY. HOWEVER THE SNOWFALL LATER TONIGHT
AND TUESDAY... CURRENTLY IS EXPECTED TO BE LIGHTER THAN WHAT
OCCURS THROUGH THE DAY TODAY AND THIS EVENING.

* SNOW TOTALS...7 TO 9 INCHES. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS NEAR 11 INCHES
COULD OCCUR BETWEEN DANIEL AND BONDURANT.

* VISIBILITY...QUARTER TO HALF MILE IN MODERATE TO HEAVY
SNOWFALL.

* MAIN IMPACT...ROADS AND HIGHWAYS WILL BE SLICK AND SNOW PACKED

TODAY... WITH AN EMPHASIS ACROSS THE WESTERN SLOPES OF THE WIND
RIVER MOUNTAINS. SNOW, HEAVY AT TIMES, WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
TONIGHT AND TUESDAY WITH AN EMPHASIS ACROSS THE EASTERN SLOPES
OF THE WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS...BEFORE FINALLY TAPERING OFF LATE
TUESDAY.

* SNOW TOTALS...8 TO 14 INCHES WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WILL CAUSE
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH VISIBILITY BELOW A QUARTER MILE
THIS MORNING. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DECREASE THIS AFTERNOON
REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF BLOWING SNOW...BUT VISIBILITY IN HEAVIER
SNOW BURSTS WILL STILL BE UNDER A HALF MILE AT TIMES. THEN
TONIGHT, AFTER THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT, WINDS WILL SHIFT TO
THE NORTHEAST AT SPEEDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 35 MPH
CAUSING CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH THE VISIBILITY
REDUCED TO BELOW ONE QUARTER OF A MILE AND OCCASIONALLY DOWN TO
ZERO.

* MAIN IMPACT...ROADS AND HIGHWAYS WILL BECOME SLICK AND SNOW
PACKED AND TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES WITH REDUCED
