Mountains...

Light rain will become mixed with snow this morning. The heaviest
snow is expected through this morning above 5500 feet...with
generally one to 3 inches of total snowfall accumulation by early
afternoon. Highways 789 or 287 will become slick, slushy or snow
covered at times...especially over Beaver Rim. Visibility could be
reduced to under one half mile at times in snow.

will become slick or slushy at times. Visibility could be reduced

east facing slopes. As of 3 am this morning, 4 to 11 inches of
snow was reported across the area.

* TOTAL SNOWFALL...6 to 12 inches with 15 to 18 inches possible
in the mountains north and west of Buffalo.

* MAIN IMPACT...Highways will become slick, slushy or snow
covered, including Powder River and Granite passes. Visibility
could be reduced to under one half mile at times.
