1 PM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected, along with very cold wind
chills. Plan on the potential for slippery road conditions.
Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with localized
amounts up to 8 inches, are expected. Expect wind chills to
range from the single digits above zero to 20 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 7 AM Tuesday to 7
AM EST Wednesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 4 PM
Tuesday to 1 PM EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause
areas of blowing and drifting snow, creating reduced
visibilities. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as
little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods
of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves and dress in layers.
