...SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED TODAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

A mix of snow, light freezing rain and sleet is expected to arrive
across the area around midday, and then continue throughout the
afternoon. The snow could become briefly heavy at times. Sleet is
also possible. The precipitation is then expected to transition
over to light freezing rain late this afternoon or early this
evening.

The wintry mix is expected to continue at times through much of
Tuesday. Around an inch of snow and ice accumulations around a
quarter of an inch are possible through the period.

Untreated roads will become snow or ice covered and slippery this
afternoon. Treated roads may become ice covered and slippery
tonight into Tuesday. Those with travel plans should closely
monitor the latest forecasts and statements from the National
Weather Service in Green Bay.

...WINTRY MIX EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY MORNING...

Scattered rain showers or drizzle are expected to change over to
light freezing rain or freezing drizzle late this afternoon or
early this evening as air and road temperatures fall below
freezing. It now appears there will be a lull or break in the
precipitation late this evening into early Tuesday morning before
steadier precipitation arrives again Tuesday morning.

Ice accumulations from late this afternoon into Tuesday morning
should be a tenth to a quarter of an inch. Temperatures may warm
up enough for the freezing precipitation to switch over to rain
late Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon.

Untreated roads will become snow or ice covered and slippery
late this afternoon and this evening and continue into Tuesday
morning. Those with travel plans should closely monitor the
latest forecasts and statements from the National Weather Service
in Green Bay.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 6 PM CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Rain and sleet, is expected to change over to light
freezing rain or freezing drizzle late this afternoon and
continue into Tuesday morning. Ice accumulations of a tenth
to quarter of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central and northeast
Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel
conditions, especially this evening through the morning
commute on Tuesday. The freezing precipitation may change
over to rain for some spots across east-central Wisconsin
Tuesday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
