The Trempealeau River At Dodge.
* until Thursday afternoon...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 11:45 AM Friday the stage was 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.2 feet by
Sunday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Low lying roads around Dodge may flood,
including County Road P, as well as along a low spot on County Road
J south of Dodge.

The National Weather Service in La Crosse WI has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Trempealeau River At Arcadia.
* from Saturday morning to Monday morning.
* At 12:15 PM Friday the stage was 7.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Saturday morning and continue
to rise to near 8.3 feet by Sunday morning. The river will fall
below flood stage by Sunday.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet...Minor flooding begins. A few streets are
affected by high water, and pumping operations begin.

The National Weather Service in La Crosse has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
Trempealeau County in west central Wisconsin...

* Until 830 PM CDT Friday

* At 215 PM CDT, the Trempealeau River remains at or above flood
stage near and downstream of Arcadia. In addition to this
flooding, many other streams across southern Trempealeau County
remain high or flooded. While most roads are now opened, please
continue to heed any road closures that you may encounter. Also
stay away from flooded waters.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...Arcadia,
Trempealeau, Galesville, Blair, Ettrick, Tamarack, Hegg, Highway
95 And County D, Square Bluff, Perrot State Park, Thimble Park,
North Creek, Peacock Hill, Frenchville, Wickham Valley, Walek Knob
and Iduna.


Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
