MORNING ABOVE 3500 FEET...
...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 PM
PST TUESDAY ABOVE 2500 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow occurring early this morning above 3500 feet. Heavy
snow expected tonight and Tuesday above 2500 feet. Travel will
be very difficult to impossible. Above 3500 feet this morning,
additional snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches are expected.
Then above 2500 feet tonight and Tuesday, 2 to 3 feet of snow
expected.

* WHERE...Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit Counties, including the
Mount Baker Ski Area.

* WHEN...Moderate snow expected this morning, covered by a Winter
Weather Advisory until 10 AM PST. A short break is expected this
afternoon. Heavy snow expected tonight and Tuesday, covered by
the Winter Storm Warning from 6 PM this evening to 10 PM PST
Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
visibility at times.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
