...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 5 PM PST THURSDAY...
The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Wind
Advisory...which is in effect from 11 AM to 5 PM PST Thursday.
* Winds...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.
* Timing...Winds will increase late Thursday morning, peak between
noon and 4PM, then decrease Thursday evening.
* Impacts...Localized power outages are possible due to downed
trees and tree limbs. Light weight objects may become airborne.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for
high profile vehicles.
* Locations...Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Worley, Moscow,
Plummer, Potlatch, Genesee, Pullman, Colfax, Rosalia, La
Crosse, Oakesdale, Tekoa, Uniontown, Ritzville, Odessa,
Spokane, Cheney, Davenport, and Rockford.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
