ALSO BE QUITE MILD WITH URBAN AREAS DROPPING ONLY INTO THE UPPER
50S TO MID 60S.

* TIMING...THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.

* IMPACTS...HOT WEATHER INCREASES THE POTENTIAL FOR DEHYDRATION
AND HEAT RELATED ILLNESSES. THE ELDERLY...THE YOUNG...AND THOSE
WHO WORK OR EXERCISE OUTDOORS WILL BE THE MOST VULNERABLE TO
HEAT RELATED ILLNESSES IF EXTRA PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

YOUNG CHILDREN AND PETS SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN VEHICLES
UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE DURING WARM OR HOT
WEATHER WHEN CAR INTERIORS CAN REACH LETHAL TEMPERATURES IN A MATTER
OF MINUTES.

TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS IF YOU WORK OR SPEND TIME OUTSIDE. WHEN
POSSIBLE...RESCHEDULE STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES TO EARLY MORNING OR
EVENING. KNOW THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF HEAT EXHAUSTION AND STROKE.
