WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PDT FRIDAY.

* AFFECTED AREA...FIRE WEATHER ZONES 652...658...659 AND 661. THIS
INCLUDES THE OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS AND THE CASCADES WEST OF THE
CREST. THIS WARNING IS TARGETED TO LOCATIONS ABOVE 2000 FEET
ELEVATION.

* HAINES...MID-LEVEL HAINES 5-6...IN COMBINATION WITH HIGH-LEVEL
HAINES 5. THIS INDICATES A VERY DRY AND SOMEWHAT UNSTABLE AIR
MASS.

* TEMPERATURES...AROUND 15 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF
YEAR.

* HUMIDITY...FALLING BELOW 25 PERCENT EACH AFTERNOON...WITH POOR
NIGHTTIME HUMIDITY RECOVERY.

* IMPACTS...OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

CONTINUE THROUGH INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK...

A STRONG RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE IN THE UPPER ATMOSPHERE AND
WARMING ALOFT WILL SUPPORT AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF VERY WARM TO HOT
WEATHER OVER THE AREA THURSDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK.

TEMPERATURES WILL RISE INTO THE UPPER TO MID 90S THURSDAY OVER
THE INTERIOR FROM SEATTLE SOUTHWARD INTO THE VALLEYS OF THE
SOUTHWEST INTERIOR. IN THESE AREAS...HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REACH
THE UPPER 80S TO MID 90S AFTER MORNING LOWS ONLY AROUND 60
DEGREES. AREAS NEAR THE WATER NORTH OF SEATTLE TO THE CANADIAN
BORDER WILL BE WARM...BUT HIGHS WILL ONLY REACH INTO THE 80S.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN VERY WARM THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

HOT WEATHER CAN PLACE EXTRA STRESS ON THE BODY AND POSSIBLY LEAD
TO HEAT EXHAUSTION. IN ADDITION...IT IS EASIER TO BECOME
DEHYDRATED. THE INTERIOR OF AUTOMOBILES CAN BECOME VERY
HOT...CREATING A DANGER IF CHILDREN OR PETS ARE LEFT UNATTENDED.
