THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTH-CENTRAL VERMONT AND THE WESTERN SLOPES
OF THE GREEN MOUNTAINS IN ADDISON AND CHITTENDEN COUNTIES...WHICH
IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM WEDNESDAY TO 7 AM EST THURSDAY.

* LOCATIONS...NORTH-CENTRAL VERMONT AND THE WESTERN SLOPES OF THE
GREEN MOUNTAINS IN ADDISON AND CHITTENDEN COUNTIES.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATE...UP TO A HALF INCH PER HOUR...MAINLY
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION DURING THE LATE
MORNING THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS ON WEDNESDAY. SNOW WILL BE
BRIEFLY MODERATE IN INTENSITY DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING HOURS...AND TAPER OFF DURING THE PRE-DAWN HOURS ON
THANKSGIVING.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE SLOW DUE TO SLICK...SNOW COVERED
ROADWAYS AND LOW VISIBILITY IN FALLING SNOW. ALLOW PLENTY OF
EXTRA TIME TO TRAVEL.

* WINDS...NORTH 5 TO 10 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...HIGHS IN THE LOWER 30S. LOWS IN THE LOWER 20S.

* VISIBILITIES...DOWN TO ONE-HALF MILE AT TIMES.
