THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON CONTINUES THE WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR SNOW...UNTIL 7 AM EST THURSDAY.

* LOCATIONS...VERMONT SOUTH AND EAST OF THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...8 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATE...1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR...MAINLY THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION FROM SOUTH TO NORTH
LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH EARLY TO MID AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL BE
MODERATE TO HEAVY AT TIMES DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON THROUGH
LATE EVENING. SNOW WILL TAPER OFF TOWARD DAYBREAK ON

ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL
VERMONT WHERE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE HEAVIEST.

* TEMPERATURES...HIGHS IN THE LOWER 30S. LOWS IN THE MID 20S.

* VISIBILITIES...DOWN TO ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.
