through Tuesday evening.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...Silverton...Telluride...Rico...Dallas
Divide...Skyway...Crested Butte...Taylor Park...Aspen and many
of the major highway and interstate mountain passes.

* TIMING...Snow is likely to start over the higher peaks prior to
sunrise on Monday and become widespread and lower in elevation
through the day. Snow...heavy at times...will then continue at
least into Tuesday evening...with snow possibly lingering into
Wednesday for some areas.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...A foot or more of snow looks possible at
most locations in the Winter Storm Watch area. The storm track will
favor the southern Colorado mountains for especially heavy
snow...and storm totals may exceed 2 feet in certain locations.

* WINDS...Southwest at 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 mph
above 9500 feet Monday through Tuesday morning. Winds gradually
turn westerly then northwest and decrease Tuesday afternoon.

* VISIBILITY...reduced to less than a half mile at times in
moderate to heavy snow and blowing snow.

* IMPACTS...Heavy snowfall and strong winds will quickly create hazardous
driving conditions. Mountain roadways will be icy to snowpacked
at times.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
