UTAH. FORECASTED SNOW THROUGH SATURDAY WILL LIKELY CREATE
DANGEROUS AVALANCHE CONDITIONS TONIGHT THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

* AFFECTED AREA...THE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN UTAH AND
THE SAN RAFAEL SWELL ABOVE 6500 FEET.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...STORM TOTALS OF 5 TO 10 INCHES ACROSS
MOST OF THIS AREA WITH AMOUNTS OF 12 TO 18 INCHES AT THE
HIGHER ELEVATIONS ABOVE ABOUT 8500 FEET.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL CONTINUE HEAVY
AT TIMES THROUGH TONIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF SATURDAY.

* SNOW LEVELS...RANGING BETWEEN 6500 AND 7000 FEET.

* IMPACTS...WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ON ALL
MOUNTAIN ROUTES IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN UTAH FROM AROUND
SOLDIER SUMMIT SOUTHWARD STARTING TONIGHT AND CONTINUING INTO
SATURDAY. THIS INCLUDES THE PASSES ON I-70 AND US-89.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
