THE AVALANCHE WARNING FOR ALL MOUNTAINS OF NORTHERN UTAH HAS BEEN
CONTINUED THROUGH 5 AM MONDAY. DANGEROUS AVALANCHE CONDITIONS
EXIST AT THE MID AND UPPER ELEVATIONS...WITH BOTH NATURAL AND
HUMAN TRIGGERED SLIDES LIKELY.

THIS WARNING DOES NOT INCLUDE SKI AREAS OR HIGHWAYS WHERE
AVALANCHE CONTROL IS NORMALLY DONE.

* AFFECTED AREA...THE WASATCH AND WESTERN UINTA MOUNTAINS OF
NORTHERN UTAH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OF 8 TO 14 INCHES IS
EXPECTED.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL INCREASE AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND
CONTINUE...HEAVY AT TIMES...INTO MONDAY MORNING. THE SNOW WILL
TAPER OFF MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* WINDS...PERIODS OF STRONG WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS...GUSTING IN
EXCESS OF 50 MPH ALONG EXPOSED RIDGELINES...ARE POSSIBLE LATE
TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY. THESE WINDS WILL RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE
BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF NEW SNOW.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS WINTER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
WASATCH AND WESTERN UINTA MOUNTAINS TONIGHT INTO MONDAY. THIS
MAY IMPACT TRAVEL ON ALL ROUTES THROUGH THESE MOUNTAINS
INCLUDING I-80 AND US-89. THOSE CONTEMPLATING TRAVEL OR OUTDOOR
ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE PREPARED AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS A MIXTURE OF HEAVY SNOW AND STRONG
