* Until 215 AM CST

* At 1217 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to one to two inches of rain has already
fallen. Additional rainfall of one to two inches is expected in
areas where there has been little or no rainfall and another one
half to three quarters of an inch in areas currently seeing
rainfall.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Taylor,
Elgin, Bastrop, Smithville, Granger, Austin Bergstrom Int Ap,
Anderson Mill, Windemere, Serenada, Hutto, Manor, Florence,
Jarrell, Mustang Ridge and Thrall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

FAYETTE AND LAVACA COUNTIES UNTIL 145 AM CST...

At 100 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Dime Box to near
Hallettsville. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
these storms. This line of storms has had a history of producing
tornadoes, and more brief tornadoes will be possible.

Locations impacted include...
Giddings, La Grange, Smithville, Schulenburg, Hallettsville,
Flatonia, Lexington, Shelby, Fayetteville, Round Top, Fedor, Sublime,
Paige, Muldoon, Tanglewood, Dime Box, Ezzell, Carmine, Komensky and
Swiss Alp.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for
south central Texas.
