TEXAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN ARKANSAS...
COLUMBIA...HEMPSTEAD...HOWARD...LAFAYETTE...LITTLE RIVER...
MILLER...NEVADA...SEVIER AND UNION. IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...
BOSSIER...CADDO...CLAIBORNE AND WEBSTER. IN NORTHEAST TEXAS...
BOWIE...CASS...HARRISON...MARION AND PANOLA.

* THROUGH THIS EVENING

* THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
TO SPREAD ACROSS THE FOUR STATE REGION TODAY. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER
AMOUNTS...WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGHOUT THE DAY...MAINLY ACROSS
NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...INTO THE LOWER TOLEDO
BEND AND SAM RAYBURN COUNTRY OF DEEP EAST TEXAS. GIVEN THAT
GROUNDS HAVE BECOME SATURATED FROM ONGOING RAINFALL...THIS
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL HAS THE POTENTIAL TO ENHANCE RUNOFF
AND RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.

* IN ADDITION TO THE FLASH FLOODING THREAT...THIS HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL CAUSE SIGNIFICANT RISES ON AREA RIVERS AND LAKES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
