BURNET...CALDWELL...COMAL...DE WITT...DIMMIT...FAYETTE...
FRIO...GILLESPIE...GONZALES...GUADALUPE...HAYS...KARNES...
KENDALL...KERR...LAVACA...LEE...LLANO...MEDINA...REAL...
TRAVIS...UVALDE...WILLIAMSON...WILSON AND ZAVALA.

* FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AND MOVE ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL
TEXAS LATE MONDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY EVENING. RAINFALL
TOTALS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED...WITH ISOLATED 5 INCH
AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE.

* DUE TO THE VERY MOIST CONDITIONS OF THE GROUNDS AND SOILS IN
THE AREA...RAPID FLASH FLOODING OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND
SOME ROADWAYS WILL BE POSSIBLE WHERE HEAVY RAINS DEVELOP. AREA
RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE ALSO OUT OF BANKS OR IN FLOOD. SOME OF
THESE RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL REACH THEIR FLOOD STAGES VERY
QUICKLY.

The flood warning continues for the Plum Creek near Luling.
* At 6:00 PM Sunday the stage was 22.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The creek level is expected to rise above flood stage by Sunday
evening and rise to crest near 23.5 feet. The creek level will fall below
flood stage by late Sunday evening.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding reaches significant areas of
the flood plain flooding secondary roads and low bridges. Livestock in the
flood plain may be cut off in low areas and drowned..

The flood warning continues for the San Marcos River below Luling.
* At 5:45 PM Sunday the stage was 36.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river level will continue rising to near 37.9 feet by Monday
morning. The river will fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At 36.0 feet...Palmetto State Park is under water except for the
headquarters building. The pavillion has six feet of water in it. Much of the
golf course in Luling is underwater. Lowest homes northeast of the golf course
are threatened. The Warm Springs rehabilitation hospital in Ottine has several
feet of water in it..
