* PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND NORTHEAST TEXAS...INCLUDING THE
FOLLOWING AREAS...IN SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...HEMPSTEAD...HOWARD...
LAFAYETTE...LITTLE RIVER...MILLER...NEVADA AND SEVIER. IN
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...BOSSIER AND CADDO. IN SOUTHEAST
OKLAHOMA...MCCURTAIN. IN NORTHEAST TEXAS...BOWIE...CAMP...
CASS...CHEROKEE...FRANKLIN...GREGG...HARRISON...MARION...
MORRIS...PANOLA...RED RIVER...RUSK...SMITH...TITUS...UPSHUR

* THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND
INTENSITY THROUGH SATURDAY AS AN UPPER LEVEL TOUGH AND A COLD
FRONT EDGE SLOWLY EASTWARD. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
ONE TO THREE INCHES ARE EXPECTED...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS
TO NEAR FOUR INCHES. THE SOIL REMAINS SATURATED AND THIS NEW
RAINFALL WILL QUICKLY RUNOFF INTO OUR ALREADY SWOLLEN LOCAL
AND AREA WIDE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.

* LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS...ESPECIALLY IN THE VICINITY
OF RAPIDLY RISING BAYOUS...CREEKS AND STREAMS...DUE TO
POTENTIALLY VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...WILL BE MOST PRONE TO FLASH
FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.

The flood warning continues for
the Sulphur River Below Talco, Texas.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1215 PM Friday the stage was 23.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 24.5 feet by
Sunday morning then begin falling. Also the river crested at 26.8
feet during Thursday morning near Talco, Texas.
* Impact...at 25.0 feet...Expect moderate flooding of lowland areas
with some secondary roadways closed. All cattle and equipment
nearby the river should be moved to higher ground.

warning continues for
the White Oak Creek Near Talco, Texas.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1115 AM Friday the stage was 17.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* Forecast...The creek will recede to near 17.0 feet by Saturday
morning. Also the creek crested at 17.5 feet during Thursday morning.
* Impact...at 18.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding. Move livestock and
equipment to higher ground.
