FAYETTE...FRIO...GILLESPIE...GONZALES...GUADALUPE...HAYS...
KARNES...KENDALL...KERR...KINNEY...LAVACA...LEE...LLANO...
MAVERICK...MEDINA...REAL...TRAVIS...UVALDE...VAL VERDE...
WILLIAMSON...WILSON AND ZAVALA.

* THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING

* WIDESPREAD RAINFALL TOTALS OF 4 TO 7 INCHES WITH SOME LOCATIONS
REACHING AS HIGH AS 15 INCHES. ALSO...SATURATED SOILS WILL
FURTHER ENHANCE THE POSSIBILITY FOR FLASH FLOODING.

* RIVERS AND CREEKS ARE SWOLLEN AND ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL
WORSEN THE CONDITIONS. SOILS ARE SATURATED AND ANY ADDITIONAL
RAINS WILL LIKELY RESULT IN RAPID RUN OFF AND ACCUMULATION OF
FLOOD WATERS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

the Medina River At Hwy 281.
* At 8:15 PM Tuesday the stage was 8.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and continue to rise
to near 22.3 feet by Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood stage
by Thursday afternoon.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding floods secondary roads and
bridges making them dangerous to traffic..

* Flood Warning for
the San Antonio River Near Elmendorf.
* from late tonight to Thursday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 31.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to rise to
near 36.7 feet by tomorrow early afternoon.The river will fall below flood
stage by early Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 35.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding inundates crop and pastureland
below San Antonio to below Floresville..
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 37.0 feet on Feb 4
