THAT UP TO TEN INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER PARTS OF KENDALL AND
BLANCO COUNTIES. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL TOTALS OF TWO TO SIX INCHES
HAS FALLEN OVER THE WARNED AREA. ANOTHER LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS
WITH HEAVY RAINFALL IS FORECAST TO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA OVER THE
NEXT SIX HOURS...LIKELY PRODUCING AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO THREE
INCHES OF RAIN. WIDESPREAD FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING...SO ANY
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL COULD PRODUCE CATASTROPHIC FLASH FLOODING.

AREAS...ATASCOSA...BANDERA...BASTROP...BEXAR...BLANCO...
BURNET...CALDWELL...COMAL...DE WITT...FAYETTE...FRIO...
GILLESPIE...GONZALES...GUADALUPE...HAYS...KARNES...KENDALL...
KERR...LAVACA...LEE...LLANO...MEDINA...REAL...TRAVIS...
UVALDE...WILLIAMSON AND WILSON.

* THROUGH 7 PM THIS EVENING

* ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL MOVE
ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS PRODUCING ADDITIONAL RAINFALL TOTALS
OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH ISOLATED ADDITIONAL TOTALS TO 4 INCHES
POSSIBLE.

* DUE TO THE VERY MOIST CONDITIONS OF THE GROUNDS AND SOILS IN THE
AREA...RAPID FLASH FLOODING OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND SOME
ROADWAYS WILL BE POSSIBLE WHERE HEAVY RAINS DEVELOP. AREA RIVERS
AND STREAMS ARE ALSO OUT OF BANKS OR IN FLOOD. SOME OF THESE
RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL REACH THEIR FLOOD STAGES VERY QUICKLY.

* Flood Warning for the Sabinal River At Sabinal.
* until late Sunday night...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Saturday the stage was 6.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river level will rise above flood stage by late Saturday evening
and continue to rise to near 16.4 feet by Sunday morning.The river level will fall
below flood stage by Sunday afternoon.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding inundates lowest secondary
roads and bridges in the flood plain from the headwaters to the Frio River
confluence..
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 16.2 feet on Jul 18
1990.

The flood warning continues for the Frio River At Concan.
* At 9:30 PM Saturday the stage was 11.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river level will continue rising to near 14.5 feet by very
early Sunday morning. The river level will fall below flood stage on Sunday.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Major flooding increases very quickly to several feet
deep over the Frio River banks of recreation camps near Rio Frio to near
Concan. Sleeping campers, autos and recreational vehicles can be washed
downstream. This is a life threatening level..

* from late tonight to late Sunday night...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:30 PM Saturday the stage was 9.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river level will rise above flood stage by early Sunday morning
and continue to rise to near 16.7 feet by Sunday morning. The river level will
fall below flood stage by Sunday afternoon.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet...Major flooding of crop and pastureland, traps
livestock and can drown them. Secondary and primary roads and low bridges are
flooded and dangerous..
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 16.9 feet on Sep 16
1991.

The flood warning continues for the Nueces River At Laguna.
* At 3:30 AM Sunday the stage was 11.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river level will continue rising to near 12.1 feet by this morning.
The river level will fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding reaches low water crossings on
Highway 55 above Barksdale on Hackberry Creek. The Nueces River crossing at
Barksdale is very dangerous. East of Camp Wood Farm to Market 337 crosses Camp
Wood Creek in three places. Vehicular related drownings have occurred at all
these sites..
