AREAS...IN LOUISIANA...ALLEN...AVOYELLES...BEAUREGARD...
CALCASIEU...EAST CAMERON...EVANGELINE...JEFFERSON DAVIS...
RAPIDES...VERNON AND WEST CAMERON. IN TEXAS...HARDIN...
JEFFERSON...NORTHERN JASPER...NORTHERN NEWTON...ORANGE...
SOUTHERN JASPER...SOUTHERN NEWTON AND TYLER.

* THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING

* ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO FALL ON ALREADY
SATURATED GROUND IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS...AS WELL AS SOUTHWEST AND
CENTRAL LOUISIANA FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 1 TO 2
INCHES WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* AREAS THAT SEE HEAVY RAINFALL WITHIN A SHORT TIME COULD
RECEIVE FLOOD WATER TO DEPTHS THAT WOULD IMPACT PROPERTY AND
PEOPLE IN THOSE AREAS. AREA CREEKS...STREAMS AND RIVERS ARE
ALSO LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE RISES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.

* At 915 AM Sunday The stage was 15.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 15.4 feet
by Monday morning.
* Impact...at 16.0 feet...Lowland flooding will slowly decrease for
the next several days.

* At 900 AM Sunday the stage was 27.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 28.8 feet by
Tuesday morning then begin falling.
* Impact...at 28.0 feet...Water will begin to flood several secondary
roadways especially in the Smith's Ferry community.

* At 10:00 PM Sunday the stage was 68.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 64.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 68.8 feet by
tomorrow early afternoon. Additional rises may be possible
thereafter.
