The Flood Warning continues for
The Red River near Burkburnett.

* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:30 PM Thursday the stage was 10.9 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast...After a brief fall...the Red River will begin rising
again and crest near 11.4 feet early Sunday afternoon.

* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Crop and range lands...oil fields...and
rural roads are affected. Some low-lying areas near the river are
isolated by high water in side channels. Areas along the river near
Davidson Oklahoma begin to flood several hours before the crest
approaches the Burkburnett area. The flood crest reaches the area
along the river near Taylor Oklahoma several hours later. Cattle
and other property should be relocated to places which are 2 feet
higher than nearby river banks to avoid being stranded.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Red River near Terral.

* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:00 PM Thursday the stage was 22.1 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

* Forecast...After a brief fall...the Red River will begin rising
again and crest near 23.1 feet early Monday afternoon.

* Impact...At 23.0 feet...Crop and range lands...pecan groves and
rural roads are affected. Agricultural levees begin to overtop
when the river stages rise above 23 feet. Though not flooded...
some areas at the edge of the flood plain may be isolated by high
water in side channels. Bottomlands near Charlie Texas begin to
flood several hours before the crest reaches Terral Oklahoma...
with flooding reaching the Illinois bend area near Leon Oklahoma
several hours later.

NORTHEAST OF RYAN TO 4 MILES SOUTHWEST OF TERRAL TO 5 MILES NORTHWEST
OF NEWPORT...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

HAZARD...70 MPH WIND GUSTS AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL.
