...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT
TONIGHT...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* TIMING...Through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Driving conditions may be impacted. Items along the
beach may need to be removed due to the incoming wave runup
along with standing water from heavy rainfall. Strong rip
currents are expected along gulf-facing beaches. These rip
currents can be life-threatening to anyone entering the surf,
especially near piers and jetties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help. Do not venture far away from main
roads if on the beach, as some access roads could flood resulting
in beach going being stranded at times.
