The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flood Warning for
The Trinity River At Trinidad.
* from Friday morning to Saturday morning...Or until the warning is
* At 1000 PM Tuesday the stage was 9.98 feet.
* Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river should rise above flood stage Friday
morning and continue to rise to a crest near 33.5 feet Friday
afternoon. The river should fall below flood stage Friday evening.
Teh river height may increase due to additional rainfall expected
the next few days and adjustments to the forecast can be expected.
* At 33 feet, Minor flooding will occur along the right bank of the
river.Low woodlands for one mile along right bank will begin to flood.

The Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas, including
the following areas, in north central Texas, Bosque, Collin,
Cooke, Coryell, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Falls, Fannin,
Freestone, Grayson, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Hunt, Johnson,
Kaufman, Limestone, McLennan, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker,
Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise. In northeast Texas,
Anderson, Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains, and Van
* Through Wednesday evening
* Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches with localized amounts of 6
* Flooding will be possible in low lying areas, creeks, rivers
and any other flood-prone areas.
