...COLD TEMPERATURES AND WINTRY WEATHER WILL RETURN TO WEST TEXAS
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

AFTER A SHORT RELIEF FROM COLD TEMPERATURES AND WINTER WEATHER
TODAY...ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION EARLY
TOMORROW MORNING. TEMPERATURES WILL BE AT THEIR WARMEST TOMORROW
MORNING AHEAD OF THE FRONT AND WILL DROP INTO THE MID TEENS TO
LOWER 20S BY LATE AFTERNOON TOMORROW. 20 TO 25 MPH WINDS BEHIND
THE FRONT WILL PRODUCE WINDCHILL VALUES NEAR OR BELOW ZERO AT
TIMES. IN ADDITION TO COLDER TEMPERATURES...WINTRY PRECIPITATION
WILL BE POSSIBLE BEHIND THE FRONT. A MIX OF RAIN...SLEET...AND
SNOW IS POSSIBLE STARTING EARLY TOMORROW MORNING AND IS EXPECTED
TO TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON. AT THIS TIME...
SNOW AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 3-4
INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH TOMORROW NIGHT BUT THERE REMAINS
SOME UNCERTAINTY ON HOW MUCH SNOW MAY FALL. THE SNOW WILL MOVE
OUT OF THE REGION BY THURSDAY MORNING AND TEMPERATURES WILL WARM
INTO THE UPPER 30S BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

THE COLD TEMPERATURES AND WINTRY PRECIPITATION COULD MAKE
TRAVELING DIFFICULT FOR MUCH OF THE REGION TOMORROW MORNING
THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. THOSE PLANNING TO TRAVEL ACROSS
THE AREA ARE URGED TO KEEP INFORMED OF THE LATEST FORECASTS AND
BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE WEATHER ADVISORIES.
