* Until midnight EST/1100 PM CST/

* At 900 PM EST/800 PM CST/, Doppler radar indicated moderate to
heavy rain across the area. Rainfall amounts in excess of one and
one half inches has occurred across portions of the area, and
additional rainfall of an inch or more will be possible. Runoff
from this rainfall will cause flooding of some smaller creeks and
streams as well as ponding of water in poor drainage areas.


* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chattanooga, Cleveland, Dunlap, Jasper, Benton, Ducktown,
Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, South Pittsburg, Walden, Lakesite,
Whitwell, Kimball, Monteagle, Charleston, Ridgeside, Harrison,
South Cleveland, East Cleveland and Fairmount.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* At 1123 PM EST/1023 PM CST/, Doppler radar indicated rain
continuing across the area. Rainfall amounts in excess of one and
one half inches has occurred across portions of the area, and
additional rainfall of one half inch or more will be possible.
Runoff from this rainfall will cause flooding of some smaller
creeks and streams as well as ponding of water in poor drainage
areas. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
