THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR 3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW...WITH SOME LIGHT ICE
ACCUMULATION...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM WEDNESDAY TO 9 AM CST
THURSDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...FROM 3 PM CST WEDNESDAY THROUGH 9 AM CST THURSDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE HIGHEST
AMOUNTS CLOSER TO THE KENTUCKY STATE LINE AND LOWEST AMOUNTS
NEAR INTERSTATE 40. FREEZING RAIN ACCUMULATIONS MAY BE AROUND A
TENTH OF AN INCH.

* MAIN IMPACT...PRECIPITATION WILL MAINLY BE RAIN IN THE
MORNING...THEN MIX WITH FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET DURING THE
EARLY AFTERNOON. SNOW SHOULD DEVELOP DURING THE MID TO LATE
AFTERNOON. THIS MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL CREATE MAJOR TRAVEL
IMPACTS FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

* OTHER IMPACTS...TEMPERATURES ARE LIKELY TO STAY BELOW FREEZING
FROM WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH MID DAY FRIDAY. THIS WILL LIKELY
KEEP MANY ROADWAYS SLICK AND HAZARDOUS FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD
OF TIME.
