...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON HAS ISSUED A COASTAL
FLOOD ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING.

* LOCATIONS...LOW-LYING COASTAL AREAS OF CHARLESTON, BEAUFORT,
AND COLLETON COUNTIES INCLUDING DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON.

* TIDE LEVELS...PEAKING BETWEEN 7.3 AND 7.4 FEET MEAN LOWER LOW
WATER, OR BETWEEN 1.5 AND 1.6 FEET MEAN HIGHER HIGH WATER.

* TIMING...HIGH TIDE WILL OCCUR AROUND 7:37 AM TODAY AT
CHARLESTON. SHALLOW SALTWATER FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE 1 TO 2
HOURS BEFORE AND AFTER HIGH TIDE.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...INUNDATION OF SALTWATER IN COASTAL
AREAS COULD RESULT IN SOME ROADS BECOMING IMPASSABLE AND MINOR
FLOODING OF PROPERTIES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE PREPARED FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF IMPASSABLE ROADS AND MINOR
FLOODING OF PROPERTIES. IF TRAVEL IS NECESSARY, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
