The Monongahela River Near Elizabeth.
* from Wednesday afternoon to late Thursday night...Or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 8:15 PM Tuesday the stage was 12.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Wednesday evening and continue
to rise to near 21.2 feet by Thursday morning.The river will fall
below flood stage by Thursday evening.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet...In West Elizabeth basements of numerous
homes in the block bounded by First and Water streets begin to
flood.
