* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow
accumulations of 11 to 15 inches, with localized amounts up to
17 inches, and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch
* WHERE...Portions of southwestern New Jersey, southeast
Pennsylvania, northeast Maryland and northern Delaware.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
impossible, including during the evening commute on Wednesday.
Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times
with snowfall rates of an inch an hour possible from late
Wednesday morning through the afternoon and possibly into the
evening. Highest accumulations will be in the hilly areas.
There is some uncertainty as to the maximum snow and sleet
amounts which may run closer to a foot in this Interstate 95
corridor. Widespread power outages are expected during
Wednesday afternoon from combined glaze and heavy wet snow
loads. Thundersnow is possible late Wednesday morning and
afternoon. Blowing snow is possible on Thursday.
