GORGE AND THE UPPER HOOD RIVER VALLEY...

THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM
SATURDAY TO 6 PM PST SUNDAY.

* TIMING...INTERMITTENT LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE TONIGHT. SNOW WILL
INCREASE LATE SATURDAY MORNING AND SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THERE
WILL BE A LULL IN THE SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT BEFORE INCREASING
EARLY SUNDAY...DECREASING AGAIN LATE SUNDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS...TONIGHT LESS THAN AN INCH...EXCEPT LOCALLY 1 TO
2 INCHES IN THE UPPER HOOD RIVER VALLEY. 1 TO 2 OR 3 INCHES OF
SNOW EXPECTED LATE SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY
EVENING. ANOTHER 1 TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND
SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...THE LIGHT SNOW AND ANY POSSIBLE ICE WILL CAUSE
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ALONG INTERSTATE 84 IN OREGON AND STATE
ROUTE 14 IN WASHINGTON...AS WELL AS ALONG ADJACENT SECONDARY
ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW... SLEET...
OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
