* WHAT...Snow at times today into tonight. Total new snow
accumulations of 8 to 16 inches are expected for today through
this evening. Heavy snow will develop late tonight and continue
through early Sunday evening. During that time, another 12 to 24
inches of snow are expected.

* WHERE...In Washington, South Washington Cascades. In Oregon,
Northern Oregon Cascades and Cascades in Lane County.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 4 am Sunday. For
the Winter Storm Watch, from 4 am Sunday through Sunday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult at times,
especially on Sunday. Strong gusty on Sunday will create near
blizzard conditions over the passes, with significant blowing
and drifting snow, and reduced visibilities.
