...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON FOR THE NORTH OREGON AND CENTRAL OREGON COAST...AND THE
SOUTH WASHINGTON COAST...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON.

* TIDES: THE OBSERVED HIGH TIDE LATE SUNDAY MORNING WAS OBSERVED
AROUND 11 FT AT TOKE POINT AND SOUTH BEACH...AND 11.5 FT AT
ASTORIA WITH TIDAL ANOMALIES OF AROUND 1.5 FT. WITH HIGHER
ASTRONOMICAL TIDES BUT LOWER TIDAL ANOMALIES...THE COMBINED HIGH
TIDE AROUND 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON SHOULD BE ABOUT THE SAME OR
SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN YESTERDAY.

* RIVER FLOWS: FLOW ON THE COASTAL RIVERS REMAINS HIGH AS A RESULT
OF RECENT ABUNDANT RAINFALL. WHILE FLOWS WILL BE DECREASING IN
THE NEXT 12 HOURS...THEY WILL REMAIN HIGH ENOUGH FOR THE MIDDAY
HIGH TIDE TO CONTRIBUTE TO MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW.

* TIMING: MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW CAN AGAIN BE EXPECTED DURING THE
HIGH TIDE AROUND 1 PM MONDAY WITH IMPACTS LIKELY OCCURRING
BETWEEN 10 AM AND 4 PM.

* IMPACTS: AFFECTED LOCATIONS WILL INCLUDE LOW LYING AREAS NEAR
BAYS AND SLOUGHS...HIGHWAY 101...AND THE LOWER REACHES OF
COASTAL RIVERS. LOW LYING AREAS NEAR THE CITY OF ASTORIA...NEAR
HIGHWAY 101 IN TILLAMOOK...AND HIGHWAY 126 EAST OF FLORENCE WERE
IMPACTED SUNDAY AND MAY ALSO SEE MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW TODAY.
THESE IMPACTS SHOULD EASE AS THE TIDE MOVES OUT AGAIN LATER THIS
AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE COAST.
