* At 9:30 AM Saturday the stage was 14.5 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Washita River will rise above flood stage late
Saturday evening and crest near 23.5 feet mid Sunday morning. The
Washita River will fall below flood stage Sunday evening.

* Impact...At 24 feet...Residential areas in north Chickasha and
suburban homes and businesses west of town are inundated by
flooding. The county road west of the Chickasha Airport is blocked
by high water. Flooding of croplands and pastures occurs in Grady
County from upstream of Chickasha to near Tabler and points
downstream. Overflow depths on agricultural fields vary...ranging
up to 7 feet.

Sunday morning and crest near 9.6 feet early Monday afternoon. The
Canadian River will fall below flood stage mid Tuesday morning.

* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Widespread flood depths up to 3 feet occur
along the river on the Canadian-Grady County border from near U.S.
Highway 81 between Union City and Minco...to the vicinity north of
of Tuttle. Flooding may extend to the Ten-mile Flats area...
downstream from Newcastle. Sandpits...agricultural lands...and
low-lying local roads are the areas most affected along the
Canadian River.
