INCHES OF RAIN POSSIBLE WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...BEST CHANCE FOR HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL RESIDE FROM NORTHERN THROUGH CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN
OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. LOCALLY 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
RAIN POSSIBLE WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Washita River near Dickson.

* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:30 PM Thursday the stage was 33.5 feet.

* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Washita River will continue rising and crest near
34.4 feet mid Friday morning then begin falling.

* Impact...At 34.0 feet...Flood depths up to 9 feet extend damages
along the Washita River valley...from near Davis in Murray
County...to near Dickson in Carter County...to the headwaters of
Lake Texoma in Johnston County. Many homesteads could be flooded or
isolated. About 7 thousand acres of agricultural lands are covered.
Any flooding on tributary creeks is increased by backwater from the
river.
