...LAKE WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT SATURDAY...
* EVENT...A tight pressure gradient will result in Southerly winds
of 15-20 MPH with higher gusts to 25-30 MPH and isolated speeds
to near 35 MPH across the area. The speeds will remain high
beyond 1 AM for parts of East and Northeast Texas.
* TIMING...Through 1 AM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACT...Rough chop on area lakes will create hazardous boating
conditions. High profile vehicles may be affected by sudden wind
gusts, especially on East to West or West to East bound traffic.
A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause a rough chop
on area lakes and large bodies of water. Small boats will be
prone to taking on water and capsizing.
