...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Northern Kentucky and Ohio,
including the following areas, in Northern Kentucky, Bracken,
Campbell, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Pendleton, and Robertson. In
Ohio, Adams, Brown, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton,
Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene,
Highland, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, Ross, Union OH, and
Warren.

* Until 6 AM EDT Tuesday

* Occasional thunderstorms will produce locally heavy rainfall
into the early morning hours. Some of the storms will be capable
of producing 1 to 2 inches of rain in a short period of time.
This will lead to the possibility of flash flooding into th
overnight hours.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.

West central Pickaway County in central Ohio...

* Until 1245 AM EDT.

* At 947 PM EDT, radar indicated an area of heavy rain over the
advisory area. Additional heavy rain is expected.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
South Bloomfield, Fox and Darbyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
