THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...

The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of central New York...including the following
counties...Jefferson and Lewis.

* From 7 PM EST this evening through Friday morning.

* Low pressure is forecast to track from Southern Ontario to
Northern New England through tonight. This will bring periods of
rain showers and very warm temperatures which will result in additional

Black River, leaving it vulnerable to flooding.

* Flows on the Black River will remain high through this evening
but are expected to remain below flood stage. After this, the
Black River should begin to rise tonight as it responds to the
additional rain and snow melt. This may result in flooding along
the Black River and some of its larger tributaries through the
end of the week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be
alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to
flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding
develop. Stay tuned to weather radio or other radio and tv
stations for further details or updates
