The Marys River Above Hot Springs Ck Near Deeth.
* until further notice.
* At 1:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 6.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by midnight tomorrow and
continue to rise to near 6.3 feet by early Saturday morning.
* Impact...at 6.0 feet...Flood stage, minor lowland
flooding on the lower Mary's river, with minor flooding of rural roads
throughout the area. Some minor flooding of streets in Deeth.

11 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Gusts to 55
mph are possible in northeastern and far eastern Elko County.

* TIMING...Winds will increase this morning with the strongest
winds from late morning through the afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong gusty winds will make driving challenging,
especially those driving vans, campers, trailers, and other
high-profile vehicles. Secure loose outdoor items such as
trash cans and outdoor furniture.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts
in excess of 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make
driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.

MORNING TO 5 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 to 4 inches in the valleys and 6 to 12
inches in the mountains.

* TIMING...Heaviest snow will be between late morning and early
evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph.

* IMPACTS...Snow covered roads and reduced visibilities will
create travel difficulties. Make sure someone knows where you're
driving and when you're going to arrive. Strong winds and areas
of blowing snow will reduce visibilities to less than one mile
at times.
