THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED ABOVE
8000 FEET WITH UPWARDS OF A FOOT OF SNOW ABOVE 10000 FEET.

* TIMING...WHILE PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW ARE EXPECTED
TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY...THE MORE PERSISTENT AND HEAVIER
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN LATE FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY. SNOW WILL DISSIPATE EARLY SATURDAY EVENING.

* WINDS...WEST 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS FROM 30 TO 50 MPH FRIDAY.
STRENGTHENING SATURDAY AT 25 TO 40 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS
FROM 35 TO 55 MPH.

* SNOW LEVELS...TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW AT ALL
LOCATIONS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...HIGH TERRAIN ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW PACKED AND
ICY WITH REDUCED VISIBILITY IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW. AREAS OF
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ARE EXPECTED WITH SIGNIFICANT
VISIBILITY RESTRICTION AT TIMES. TRAVEL WILL BECOME DIFFICULT
OR IMPOSSIBLE AT HIGH ELEVATIONS ABOVE 8000 FEET.
