THE SECOND OF TWO COLD FRONTS THIS WEEK WILL ARRIVE ON WEDNESDAY
BRINGING MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES TO THE LAND OF ENCHANTMENT.
SEVERAL LOCATIONS ACROSS THE NORTHERN THIRD OF NEW MEXICO WILL
STRUGGLE TO REACH THE FREEZING MARK ON BOTH WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES WEDNESDAY NIGHT WILL BE IN THE SINGLE
DIGITS AND TEENS ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA. WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE
SINGLE DIGITS BOTH ABOVE AND BELOW ZERO WILL BE COMMON. ONLY
SLIGHTLY WARMER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT.

THE WEST FACING SLOPES AND HIGHEST MOUNTAIN RIDGES.

* WINDS...WESTERLY WIND 30 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

* TIMING...MID MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

* VISIBILITY...LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW REDUCING VISIBILITIES DOWN
TO 1 MILE ACROSS THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN PEAKS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...STRONGEST CROSS WINDS WILL BE FOUND ALONG NORTH
TO SOUTH ORIENTED HIGHWAYS.
