...HIGH WIND WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM MST TUESDAY...

* LOCATION...Central and South Central Highlands, including Clines
Corners.

* WINDS...Southwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts 60 mph.

* TIMING...Winds persist through the afternoon persisting
overnight before gradually decreasing by sunrise Tuesday
morning.

* VISIBILITY...Locally reduced from blowing dust.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Drivers of vans, campers, trailers, and other
high profile vehicles should exercise extreme caution. Sudden
cross winds are possible, including along I-25 in Guadalupe
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remember, A High Wind Warning means damaging winds are imminent
or highly likely. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or
gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST TUESDAY...

* LOCATION...This includes the South Central Mountains and
Southwest Chaves County.

* WINDS...Southwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph,
becoming west early Tuesday morning.

* TIMING...Winds will peak late afternoon into the evening hours,
then gradually decrease Tuesday morning.

* VISIBILITY...Locally reduced from blowing dust. Some areas of
blowing snow may locally reduce visibility early Tuesday
morning.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Drivers of vans, campers, trailers, and other
high profile vehicles should exercise extreme caution,
especially with cross winds.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* LOCATION...Much of the lower elevations of northern and
central New Mexico, including the Albuquerque and Santa Fe
metro areas.

* WINDS...Southwest 25 to 40 mph with occasional gusts to between
50 and 55 mph.

* TIMING...Winds will continue through the afternoon, then
gradually decreasing during the evening hours.

* VISIBILITY...Locally reduced to between 3 and 5 miles in
blowing dust.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions due to strong
crosswinds and localized blowing dust are expected, including
along Highway 550, Interstate 25 and portions of Interstate
40. Drivers of vans, campers, trailers and other high profile
vehicles should exercise caution.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should exercise caution while travelling. Sudden gusts
of wind may cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Extra
attention should be given to cross winds.
