UPCOMING HIGH TIDE EARLY THIS MORNING. AREAS OF MODERATE
FLOODING IS ANTICIPATED WITH THE HIGH TIDE LATE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...HIGH TIDE ON THE NEW JERSEY OCEANFRONT OCCURS BETWEEN
3:30 AM AND 4:30 AM THIS MORNING AND AGAIN BETWEEN 4:00 PM AND
5:00 PM ON MONDAY. HIGH TIDE ON THE BACK BAYS AND ALONG RARITAN
BAY OCCURS LATER THAN THE HIGH TIDE ON THE OCEANFRONT.

* SURGE...AROUND 2 FEET ABOVE THE ASTRONOMICAL TIDE EARLY THIS
MORNING. AROUND 4 FEET ABOVE THE ASTRONOMICAL TIDE LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* WAVES...WAVE HEIGHTS IN THE NEARSHORE WATERS ARE FORECAST TO
BUILD TO 12 TO 18 FEET TODAY.

* IMPACTS...LOCALIZED ROADWAY FLOODING IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING.
NUMEROUS ROADWAYS WILL FLOOD AND MINOR TO MODERATE PROPERTY
DAMAGE IS LIKELY LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE LATE DAY
FLOODING MAY BE COMPOUNDED BY HEAVY RAIN. ALSO...THE COMBINATION

NEW JERSEY, EASTERN MONMOUTH, MERCER, AND WESTERN MONMOUTH. IN
NORTHERN NEW JERSEY, MIDDLESEX, MORRIS, AND SOMERSET. IN
SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY, COASTAL OCEAN AND OCEAN.

* FROM 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP AND STRENGTHEN OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC
COAST TODAY...AND THEN WILL MEANDER JUST OFF THE NEW JERSEY
SHORELINE TONIGHT BEFORE DEPARTING ON TUESDAY. BANDS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL SPREAD INTO EASTERN AND PORTIONS
OF NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY STARTING THIS AFTERNOON... WITH THE
HEAVIEST RAIN FALLING THIS EVENING. BETWEEN 1 AND 3 INCHES
OF RAIN IS EXPECTED IN THE WATCH AREA...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS POSSIBLY APPROACHING 4 INCHES. THE HIGHEST RAINFALL
